AirAsia has elected the new Independent Director (Komisaris Independen) for the Indonesian region. Here’s the fun fact, she’s an actress! Raline Rahmat Shah or better known as Raline Shah is an actress and model who graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a bachelor degree in political science. She was participating in the immensely popular Putri Indonesia Pageant in 2008 and won the title of favorite contestant. She has starred in many movies and became a brand ambassador for several products in several industries from beauty until smartphone. This plan was followed by the executive decision and approval from shareholders on Monday (7th August 2017) as it was announced by AirAsia Group’s CEO & co-founder, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, through his Instagram post not long ago.
